These hazelnuts from the Langhe really do taste as good as the reputation suggests, the dark chocolate coating is smooth and not too sweet. I love that they're grown without herbicides, makes me feel a bit better about snacking on them straight from the bag.
The crunch when you bite through the hazelnut is incredible, and the 65% dark chocolate shell is rich without being bitter. You can really taste that these are high-quality Piedmont nuts, I’ve already ordered another bag.
The dark chocolate shell has that proper snap before giving way to a buttery hazelnut center, and knowing they're sourced from the Langhe region makes each one feel a bit special. I've already hidden the box from myself twice.
